This one was a photo manipulation from an image I found online; it was a picture of War Machine, I think. This was drawn solely for my own inspiration

I would have loved to have found the original artist and commissioned him to draw a picture of the Doctor.

I worked on this before designing the original cover for Behind Distant Stars.

The cover for Starfall: Book Three in the Chronicles of Fid is still a work in progress, but this is what I have so far.

I drew this one myself. It isn’t terrible, I think…but I definitely prefer the final red cover by Hampton Lemoureaux from TS95 studios.

This was taken at the adoption center, when Drew and I first met Colby and Jacqueline. Sleepy kitties.

I’m not certain, but I’m pretty sure that we were reading Senlin Ascends by Josiah Bancroft. What a great read! Colby and Jackie certainly look to be enthralled.

Laying down in someone’s lap isn’t lazy enough for SOME kittens. SOME kittens need to lay down in someone’s lap AND to use that person’s t-shirt as a hammock.

Some kittens are just greedy!

Colby has adjusted to his new title of Supervising Editor

Jackie was kind enough to model for me when I bought a new lens for my camera.

Colby likes climbing under the dining-room table, crouched upon a chair and ready to pounce on his sister as she walks by.

Walking down this hallway can be treacherous. Cats may appear from any direction and get underfoot!

Colby had been aggressively chasing a foam golfball around the room when he noticed that I had a camera and settled down to pose. Moments after the photo was taken, he returned to racing around the room like a furry little maniac.

I recently took a long-weekend vacation to drive out to Yosemite National Park. My feet are covered in blisters, but my heart is filled with awed reverence.

The mountains in Yosemite Valley are breathtakingly majestic.

The Sierra Nevada mountain range received a fair bit of snow last winter, and the spring thaw is feeding impressive waterfalls in Yosemite Valley. The last time I visited Yosemite, Bridalveil Falls wasn’t flowing at all; this time, I could feel the cold mist from a quarter mile away.

The Mist Trail was a strenuous hike, but the views were worth every ache and pain.
